    Groups 2.0

I saw that the dynamic Church Conference is hosting Groups 2.0 Classes.  It says that Groups 2.0 will revolutionize the way we do small groups and how weblink interfaces with it.  From the site:  “It's a completely different paradigm from the previous Small Groups model and represents the future of Groups in Fellowship One”

Is there any more information on it: screenshots, blogs, staging environments etc?  I would love to see how Small Groups are changing in F1.

    Me too!

Since we started looking at Fellowship One a year ago to signing on and implementation, I have been hearing rumors of this transition. I know that our church took a few steps back from what we had when we made the decision to go with F1 and I am looking forward to increasing the usability of the internet and our life groups/serving teams... Please show me anything!!

     Thanks,

    Rachel

Yes, I want to know more, too!  I am scheduled to teach our Care Group Leaders how to use the Small Group Portal next week, but I will hold off if the rollout of the Groups 2.0 will be soon!

Groups 2.0 is coming!  We will be debuting this new functionality at this year's DC09 conference.

We will provide access to online demonstrations of Groups 2.0 soon thereafter.  Stay tuned!

    Re: Groups 2.0

I haven't seen anything about this exciting Groups update, so I thought I would mention that I, too, am quite excited! Can anyone in the F1 team tell us anything more about the Groups 2.0?

I would love to know more details too.  Has the attendance piece been added to the test version?

Attendance will still be a while, but we are making good progress with all of it. I will work at getting some video out this month so you can see what we have so far; the dev team is about to make some significant changes in the next couple weeks, waiting on it before I record something.

Any updates on this Groups 2.0 System, if you need some beta testers we would love to help!

    Any updates on Groups 2.0?

We really want to move from Church Teams over to Fellowship One. But, right now that is not a viable option. I took a look at the materials from DC09 outlining 2.0 and it looks good. Should we prepare to continue Church Teams in our Spring semester? (please say no. please say no.)
