Thank you! Both you and Jeff have been a BIG help! We have decided to go with attributes for tracking our youth ministry.
I like your suggestion of tracking attendance with just a laptop. We are averaging about 115 youth a week, so having a couple of volunteers logging attendance may be doable. I do use "post attendance" for all of our other youth ministry activities (and small group attendance for our small groups inside of the youth ministry) just not for the main activity. Maybe if we enter everyone who checks in into a drawing once a month that would help us get the participation level needed to make it fly.
