Donnae,
Since no other churches wrote you back I thought I would. I have
helped several churches get their giftedness programs up and running on
Fellowship One. It is not a difficult endeavor but it is time consuming
to get the initial configuration completed. You have to setup the base
structure of your giftedness program in the system and then look at every job
you have in the entire church and give it a giftedness assessment. It is
not that it is difficult to accomplish in Fellowship One in fact it is actually
easy. It just takes time to think about each position (greeter, usher, and
teacher) and then determine what gifts you would like that volunteer to have.
As far as picking a giftedness option I would recommend steering away from
they type that relies on long free text options to give you a clue of their
gifts or experiences. PLACE and NETWORKING are two that I have helped
churches setup and they fit very nicely in how Fellowship One is
configured. For example: someone might have a gift of teaching,
compassion, and giving. They might be a perfect fit for being a Sunday
school teacher. So the job in Fellowship One would have those same gifts
and maybe a few more. We have reports built in so that person would see
the jobs that they qualify for as well as what are the time commitments and job
descriptions for that job.
I hope that helps. For more on the giftedness program in Fellowship
One please see the support tab.

Matthew McMaster
