I really need this option so that I do not have to spend hours adding end dates to over 200 college students records. We made the jump to F1 in Jan and I did not enter a end date for the college student's attributes. I need to add a new one for this year to mark that they are part of the college ministry and need to end the one from last year. Please tell me this coming soon. It said late summer, but summer is almost up!

Jason, In this case, your best option will probably be to open a support ticket.  Please include the Attribute Group & Attribute that you need affected and if this only affects some people who don't have an end date for that attribute, then we'll need a way to identify just those people.  If you want to set an end date for everyone who has that attribute with no end date, we can do that without too much trouble.

Do we have a general idea of when the Mass Action step will be available?  We are anxiously awaiting this feature as well.

Mass Action is still on track to be released by late summer, but it will only include status change and the creation of participant assignments; extending this into attributes will be a goal we can set after we get the first piece released.  I apologize for any confusion on this.

Our biggest push for mass action involves mass deletion of participation assignment.  Does this fall under the upcoming release, or scheduled for a later time?

@jcronin no, this initial release does not include "mass delete"; we recognize this as a very important feature and have been working through the details of what this would take... I don't have a time frame for this yet.

I am thrilled to use the mass action to create participant assignments.  But we really NEED to be able to add individual attributes this way.

Our issue:

We want to assign 200 people to a particular newsletter.  (We track who subscribes to what newsletter through attributes).  It is a pain to go to each of those profiles and add the attribute manually.

We even discussed doing this as a "participant assignment" but decided against it because we'd have to have an activity setup, and its not really an activity.

 Anyway -- mass action for attributes please!
