I have raised an enhancement request asking for our portal administrators to be able to choose who receives the enquiry emails from Small Group Finder.  At preset the email is sent to the Administrator and Group Manager of the Small Group.  Our Small Group Department who use F1 Portal would like to be the ones receiving all enquiry emails and not the small group administrators or managers.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we can work around this until the enhancement is available?

The best way to view Small Group Interests inside the Portal that are assigned to a Small Group (RLC) is the following:

1. Click on the Ministry tab
2. Change the Ministry Selection on the left to the ministry name for your Small Groups.
3. The Contact List will be displayed in the main area of the screen.
4. Change the "Assigned To:" drop down to Unassigned.
5. Click on Search.

You will now be able to see all of the Open contacts and the Assigned RLC (Small Group) that they belong to.

Just a thought, but I am about to dive into all of this myself.  Why don't you just list the groups on the website and have them contact the staff with their interest?

 

I wish there were a workaround too!  Its tough to get processes up and running and functioning.

 

It takes time and patience to cast a vision and see the end result of people utilizing in the appropriate ways...

I just saw under the Admin Tab there is a new link called "Small Group App" under "Church Setup".  This lets you put in the "Contact Us" Email.  Pretty Cool.
