Reconciling donations into Quickbooks

    Reconciling donations into Quickbooks

    Our church uses Quickbooks to manage our finances. Has anyone solved the problem of reconciling donations into Quickbooks? I can do it manually, but using online giving is a catch-22. The more people that use online giving (which is good) just increases the work in the back-end to reconcile QB (this is bad). It is very tedious to manually enter all the online transactions into QB, making sure you have the right fund, etc.

    Our experience...
    All of our donor reporting and statements are now done through F1, so there is no need to track donor detail in QuickBooks.  A weekly report by fund provides only a few totals to be entered into QuickBooks.  I suppose we could automate that using an import spreadsheet, but it's not a high priority.
