We update our students' information in a couple of ways.
1. Any weblink form that we create for our youth ministry helps to update their information. When a young person registers for an event it first forces them to update their email information so that they can receive the registration information and then secondly we build questions into the form such as what school they attend, what grade they are in and any allergies they may have. This means that someone on the backend needs to look over the webforms and input this information, but it saves us from having the whole ministry fill out cards every year.
2. All of our small group leaders can update their students' information. This is especially helpful with emails and phone numbers. Obviously not every single one of our students is in a small group, however, this covers the majority of kids. If a small group leader is connected with them, then the small group leader will give us any vital information that needs updating.
