    Birthdays without a year

We know the birthdays of many of our congregation but we do not know the years they were born.  I am thinking many of the women want to keep it that way.

As a ministry, we like to celebrate our members' birthdays, and I can always keep an extra list, but I was hoping there would be a way to enter the person's birthday without a year so that I could eventually pull a report for November Birthdays with participant assignments in our ministry.

I am fairly new to this whole thing, but I haven't been able to figure this one out.

     Any ideas?

I am extremely new to this and would just like to know how to run a birthday report period. Ha ha!

Try report P1100 E for a quick and easy birthday report.

What was suggested to us by F1 and works great is to input the year 1900 for anyone that you do not have the birth year for. It does mean that you must run any reports that include age with the knowledge that some people will show up as 109 years old, but in general this works great for those who do not want to give their age.

We run P1100E which gives us birthdays by status in the date range that we select (in our case by month). Another good one is M1000 which gives birthdays by attendance in a given date range.

    Hope this helps!
