• re: Mapping locations - a how to video

FOLLOW UP: I found this article that shows how to merge the contents of several cells and display them in one cell. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HP052510211033.aspx#MergeCellContents It worked like a charm. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions and I'll try my best to help. malachi.elguera@rockchurch.com

  • re: Mapping locations - a how to video

It's a great tool, but I am trying to figure out how to get that address info on to one line without having to manually copy and paste it. Do you know of any reports or functions in Excel that can do this for you?

  • Re: Baptismal Records

We created an Attribute Group called Salvation that has such Attributes as:New Salvation Rededication Water Baptism Baby Dedication Baptized w/ Holy SpiritWeb Salvation (this is for people who hear the invitation online and decide they want to give their lives to Christ. We send them information on what to do next)Now, before you theologians come ...

  • Re: iPhone

I would like to see an iPhone friendly site also. I don't think it wouldn't be necessary to have more than the individual and household views available. Currently on staff here at The Rock Church we have about 6-7 pastors with iPhones and about 7-8 more staff members with iPhones. What I think would be optimal to have in an iPhone friendly F1 ...

  • Individual Photos

I, along with other fellow F1 Portal Users, have noticed that the individual photos are much smaller than they were in the last version of Fellowship One. This is pretty annoying because it almost defeats the purpose of having pictures of individuals since you can barely make out who the person is. One thing I did notice is that there is a larger ...

  • Let me see my inactive attributes!

I opened up a few individual records looking for certain Attributes in the attribute group, Profile Codes. They weren't showing in the Attributes widget so I went to the Query builder to search for all people with Attributes in this Attribute Group, just in case the Attributes in those records were deleted. I wasn't able to run a query ...

  • re: Hsld/Ind 2.0 - Gears, Groups and Dupes

I think it would be more productive if from the dupes area in 2.0 it takes you to the Duplicate Finder page where you can choose other potential duplicates to merge.

  • re: Hsld/Ind 2.0 - Forms

I really like this idea. I have 2 suggestions: 1. If money is still owed you have the amount in a red font, perhaps you can have the word "Paid" in a green font. It would stick out more and would give a better visual notice. 2. If a person is registered for an event it would be helpful to know when the event occurs. Perhaps we can ...

  • re: Mass Action preview (wanna change status for 1000 people at once?)

I have seen alot of people ask for Adding and Removing Assignments, but no one has requested <i>deactivating Staffing Assignments</i> which I believe is just as important.

  • Testing for Education Classes

I would like to suggest having tests for the eUniversity education classes. Just like any other educational institution, it would be nice to be able to test a person's proficiency in Fellowship One, particularly in a specific subject or class, e.g. People 1, People 2, Contacts 1, etc. I believe this would especially help Ministry Leaders and ...

  • re: Mass Action preview (wanna change status for 1000 people at once?)

It would be great to have reports that show which members had changes made by Mass Action and by which portal user; same ideas as the A1047. I would also like to be able to move a large group of people from one Group (people list) to another Group. I can't wait for this to go live!

  • Re: Membership Applications

An online application would be convenient, however, not the best choice for us. For three reasons:First, most of the people who fill out forms on Weblink do not format their information correctly which means we must go in afterwards and fix the information they gave us.Second, most of the people who become members were already attending the church ...

  • re: Need Feedback - New Report UI

I agree with Dan Lott's comment regarding the action that should occur when you click a highlighted cloud. It would be helpful if you could dismiss a highlighted tag by clicking on it. And to piggy-back on Jeremy Jackson's comment: An indication next to the tags in the tag cloud would be nice. For example, like a lot of Web 2.0 sites do, ...

  • re: What stops a church from fully Experiencing Fellowship One?

I totally agree with your post. I have found that people are hesitant to "take the plunge" because they are comfortable with their current processes, despite the ease or accuracy. It is unfortunate because they either don't realize or don't accept that these new practices will actually improve the way ministry is done.
