• Re: Relationships?

Relationships is a sadly overlooked feature in Fellowship One. It's the ability to track a mentoring, counseling, or other type of discipleship relationship between two people. The beauty of this feature is that all notes can be recorded through WebLink on your church web site (the people involved do not need to sign into Fellowship One). Rachel ...

  • Re: Add Embed Form Feature?

You can embed the Contact Form. You cannot however, embed Event Registration forms. Use the <iframe=''WebLink URL goes here''> tag on your web page and make sure you set the height and width property accordingly. Contact Form, Profile Editor, & Small Group Finder can all be embedded. See http://www.newlifecenter.org/ and click on The ...

  • Re: Event Regs adds peeps to Group

Yes, you can add them to a group - but it's not automatic. I still encourage Activity Association - particularly if you want to run rosters or use Check-in or Post Attendance. This makes the activity run much smoother. If you're not taking attendance, you can skip the association. Run one of the registration reports (most of them are in the M6000 ...

  • Re: Fixed Width in CSS for Weblink Window

Hi! The width of the window is not controlled by the CSS file. This is controlled by inserting some javascript on the page where you launch the WebLink window. The CSS file will let you control the width and height of your header graphic. That is in the .HeaderTitleImage style. Hope this helps! Tara CoulsonAdvocate, Customer Experience

  • re: Coming January - Household/Individual 2.0 (try it out now)

Hi Nola, In the new Household/Individual view, you will be able to enter contacts both ways. If you are entering contacts from communication cards, you will want to first use the people search to find the person. When the search results display, you will click the little "Actions" button beside the individual's name and choose ...

  • Re: Embedded Login: writing a cookie?

Hey Seth, A simpler way to do this is to append the iCode to the end of the URL being accessed. The iCode is the unique code for this individual stored in their record. It's returned by DE after successful login. You can parse the returned XML to retrieve it and set it as a session variable. You can see how the iCode is appended to the end of ...

  • Re: Critical Care Contacts

There are a couple of different ways we have seen churches track these types of contacts. The option you choose will depend upon when you want the data captured. Option 1 - entering the information when the call comes in: This option is focused on workflow through the contact process vs. strict privacy of information. Create a critical care ...

  • Re: Data Import?

Hi Richard, Yes, you can import people into Fellowship One. Our Data Exchange API is written in XML, so you could build a macro off your Excel spreadsheet to put the XML into the proper format expected by Data Exchange. The DE method you use will depend upon what kind of people you are going to import. If you are importing single individuals that ...

    1) Does anyone know a work-around or a hack to simply make an existing account weblink enabled.Yes, you can use our application program interface called Data Exchange to mass export all your adult (14 yrs. and up) member records. Then you will create user name, password, and optionally challenge question for each individual record. It's required ...

  • Re: Event Registration

Hi Charlie, I'm excited for your church! I think you will love working with WebLink's Form Builder tool. This will definitely help you get people registered and then run reports on who is coming. The documentation referred to in the other post is the Form Builder user's guide. You can find it by clicking the ''Support'' link in Fellowship ...

  • Re: Posting and Editing Attendance

To date, I do not know of a specific project that will allow small group leaders to go back and change attendance history. You mentioned that ''it wouldn’t allow him to select the correct date''. This is a feature of Small Group Manager. Once attendance has been posted on a specific date that date is no longer available from Small Group ...

  • Re: Prison Ministries

Hi Pam, There are a couple of different areas that would work for what you need. The best for your mentors is WebLink's Relationship Manager. It's a very simple tool that allows mentors to log on via your church web site and make notes about all the people they are mentoring. You can create a Group in Fellowship One of all the prayer team ...
