• Re: Asset Tag in Self Check-in Mode?

Agreed. Not being able to print asset tags at the self-checkin kiosk means these kiosks are much less useful in the nursery areas, and actually increase pressure on the assisted checkin stations.

  • re: F1Touch for iPhones is Here!

Nice to have this! On my phone, when I touch a person's address to bring up a map, it doesn't allow me to get directions to that address; only to see the address and map. Is this by design? Could it allow us to get directions in a future update?

  • Re: iPhone

Just noticed this myself. I can't recommend using the mobile site to any of our staff until this gets changed, or someone explains how the security of a user's login is being protected. Edit: I'm referring to the earlier comment that the mobile.fellowshipone.com site appears to be using a standard HTTP connection rather than a ...

  • re: Mapping locations - a how to video

Curtis, This is a very helpful tool, especially since it does the geocoding for you. What I'd like to see in your Groups 2.0 implementation is the option to do this with any group of people or households, and optionally display some or all of the following in the popup that appears when clicking on a flag: 1. Household Info (names of ...

  • Re: Website content mangement systems?

We are working with a development partner on a new site that uses Drupal as the CMS, and our partner has selected Acquia Drupal to help simplify support. Our plan is to tie in to F1 once the new APIs are out.

  • Re: Paperless Statements

We've posted this on the ideas area, and we really, really, really want to see it implemented. Getting access to financial records online is not an unusual thing now; rather than emailing the actual statement, emailing a link to the statement with unique, non-guessable address and a required login would be a good way to do this, I ...

  • Re: List of kids checked-in by room

15 minutes after the service begins, we run report M1025 and bring each room the roster from checkin, and have the room leader confirm each child's presence (if a child isn't present but is on the roster, we assume that the parents didn't take them to the room even though they were checked in and we cross them off the roster at the room; our ...

  • Re: Anyone using Drupal for their Website design/management?

We have started developing our new site with a partner who is using Acquia Drupal. Integration with F1 is on the project planning chart, but it's a phase two project. I'll try to remember to post our experiences with this process here somewhere.

  • Re: Account Login Causing Customer Irritation

Agreed...the user login and account management experience in F1 is very poor, and needs significant improvements. Password management, timing out and/or errors on Weblink forms, the list goes on.

  • Re: Remote Deposit Capture with ProfitStars

Curtis, I have been told that your RDC solution will not accomodate split contributions. Is this true? I ask because if the PS integration cannot deal with split contributions, we are unlikely to use it, as a signficant portion of our contributions are splits. Can you confirm or correct my understanding of ...

  • Re: General Ledger

We use Blackbaud for general ledger and would like to have the ability to do more integration with it in F1, although I think that's doubtful. Doing GL well is a massive project that I'm guessing FT would rather leave alone right now, although I'd be delighted to see them do it.

Can anyone at FT comment on whether the limitation lquigley is describing would continue to be a problem with the new REST API?

Looks great, Curtis! Maybe being able to select fathers or mothers specifically would be an improvement, but this is way way better than what we have right now. Bravo!

  • Re: iPhone

Ditto to that; if the Exchange support in v.2 is as good as it looks to be, the iPhone has a good chance to become our standard mobile tool for pastors and staff. I really hope F1 support for the iPhone is made a priority!

  • Re: Online Directory

Casie, We've done this. It involves using Data Exchange by writing some code to run on our website to query F1 to verify that a person is a member or attender before allowing them access to the directory. We create a login page that asks for the person's online account login and password, and form our query to F1 with that ...
