These are positive changes... Keep bringing them on!

We leave the children that are >18 in the same household (until we hear otherwise), but change their status to ''other''. One reason we do this is for some of the same issues listed in this thread. However, the main reason is that they are still part of the household, and technically not on their own.

We are considering it as well. Looking at the system requirements, it looks like the check in app will run with no problem. We are looking at it for our self check in.

Thanks for the blog and for fixing the pictures!

I was looking through the ''completed and released'' ideas under the Idea's tab and it states that we should be able to change the status of all members of a household. I know you can do it through mass action but that is tedious as compared to doing the changes in the household screen. I attached the idea below. Curtis Harris produced a video on ...

Wow... We tried the phone number searches and you would be amazed how many tried to give us their last 4 of their ss# or a number that we don't have in the system. We have chosen to use the name search (we only have assisted check-in). We encourage our teams not to try and spell out the whole name and we achieved fewer errors. Lee Holley

This may be a silly question, but I will ask it anyway...is this just a organized way to view the information or can I edit an individual's information from this view? Lee Holley

Good work. I see a lot of comments surrounding the giving view. A great plus. Please do not remove it based on the feedback. A way to address this, which I think was already suggested... is just to default the giving section to be collapsed. Lee Holley

Agreed on the random gened security codes. We use are media software, Songshow+ to display the tag codes. We don't display the child's name and we have had no problems with getting parents to respond. Once explained they "parents" like the idea that it takes the tag to pick up their children. I like the yellow card idea. That is the ...

Thank you for the updates to the application.
I do have a comment about the user time out feature. The "timer countdown box" only displays if the F1 application is the active window. Therefore, if you have multiple tabbed internet sessions and F1 is not the active window or it is minimized to the icon tray, you won't know to extend the ...

Curtis,
We really appreciate your forthcomingness (I know it’s not a word) of letting us know what is on the horizon and that the FT team is listening to your customers on what we would like to see in future releases. Lee Holley

This is going to be a very cool tool for those of us who crunch data. Can't wait for the release! Lee Holley

Thanks for the enhancements. As an additional opportunity for improvement, I would like to see all the ideas that have a common thread consolidated. If you dig into the categories, many ideas are new, but a lot of them are recycled with a different spin. By consolidating the ideas that have a common thread, this would help us users paint a better ...

Curtis,
We did a small-scale role out of assisted check-in this weekend. (We are doing the official roll out next weekend). We checked in all of our volunteer’s children this weekend for repetition training with our check-in teams. We have a couple observations that we would like to see reviewed for possible future releases. 1.) The hard coded ...

Curtis,
I see some momentum on viable solutions for verification of users /church members to reduce duplicates. Thanks for making this a high priority.
The point I would like to bring up is the entering of family members through the weblink profile screen. If a user is the head of household or spouse, why not allow them the functionality ...

Very nice. I like the improvements. As far as imaging photos, it would be nice to be able to capture the image of the child (or volunteer) from the check in station. That would be an effient way to keep photos current.
