• Re: Easiest way to do assignments

Look under the Ministry tab, Activity/Room Setup - Activities. In the box for Check-in Settings in the top right corner, the last thing in there should say ''Auto Assignments'' and have a drop down to choose from.

  • Re: Easiest way to do assignments

I think this only works if your Activity is set to give auto-assignments either on the ''first attendance'' or ''most recent attendance''.

  • re: Add a Household and Address Verification Updated in Staging

The individual view no longer marks if the email address or phone number are listed as "unlisted". It used to show a red circle/line to denote that...now there is no difference between listed and unlisted.

  • Re: Self Check In for Students

The new keytags that we have started using across the board have a tear off barcode with a sticky back so that they can put it on their cell phones or in their Bible so that might be an option to get the barcode printed on some type of sticker or label for them. Andrea

  • Re: Data Structure Question

I'm not sure what you mean by ''clunky'' but we have similar events and we divide people up in two ways through the Status we give them...they are either Attendee - Event Prospects or Inactive - Event Attendees...then in the sub-status we can list the different types of events (such as Women's Event or Easter Hunt or whatever) to be able to filter ...

  • Re: Browse and Edit All People Records

I use queries for this kind of thing. You can search all Individual names (or info) that contain & or whatever and then turn that list into a People Group to work and remove from the group as you clean them up. If this doesn't make sense, email me and I will try to help walk you through it. Andrea aleslie@prestonwood.org

  • Re: Address and attendance chart combination - Does it exist?

You might try M1213E or M1218E. They are attendance grids that have a column for address. Andrea

  • Re: How did you hear about our church? item for contact card

We keep that as an attribute that way we can run reports and searches on it to see what is being most utilized. The Attribute is ''How were you introduced to our church?'' And then the individual attributes are the different types...church event, drove by, family, friend, newspaper, radio/tv...that way you can put details in the ...

  • re: Changes to Add New HH + Address Cleansing is back!

We would really love to have the date the address (regardless of type of address) was last updated show beside it like it does for phone numbers and email addresses.

  • Re: Children over 18

We also move them into their own household, but have also started adding an attribute called ''Family Member/Next of Kin'' and then individual attributes of Parent, Sibling, Grandparent, Child of, etc. with their names to keep up with the family relationships. We've started doing this on any members that we know their other family members, ...

  • Re: Label printers with cutters

We have chosen to use the printers with cutters for our check-in stations...especially the self check-in stations. The alignment was not the issue...if torn down or incorrectly, the next label would stick to the roller and jam the printer. Once the sticky substance was on the roller you had to completely clean it with alcohol for the ...

Have you tried M6012E or M6013E? They are lists of Individuals and their answers to questions. If you need a count of each answer, M6010 will give you that. Hope that helps! Andrea

  • Re: Combining names on labels

M1411E is Households where someone in the HH has an assignment to the activity and then lists every child in the family with their ages, but in separate columns from each other. You would have to sort by all the ages to get the exact kids you wanted. You might send over a report request to have them build you what you need. Or ...

  • Re: Combining names on labels

The one I know of right off hand is P2000E. It pulls households with a certain status that have children in the age range you specify. Under Additional Filters is the option to display the children in the report and that will put them in their own column. You could also try M3033E if you want to pull by parent assignment.

  • Re: Combining names on labels

If you run one of the reports that lists the household and then lists all the children in the same cell (you can choose children within a certain age range in the reports I've seen), you can use mail merge and add that cell before the address block. The only other thing I would know to do is add the siblings in separate columns next to each other ...

M3755E lets you choose what the status of the requirement is that you are looking for. We don't use the automatic background checks, so I can't really help you with how to clean those up. Andrea

M1099E also works. It can be saved as a Temporary Group. It pulls any status that has not attended any of the selected ministries in the time frame you choose. Andrea
