What was suggested to us by F1 and works great is to input the year 1900 for anyone that you do not have the birth year for. It does mean that you must run any reports that include age with the knowledge that some people will show up as 109 years old, but in general this works great for those who do not want to give their age.
We ...

We are looking for a report that pulls out individual contact information (e.g. name, address, emails, phone numbers, etc.) that we can then import (or in the case of Entoruage, script) into Outlook. Does anyone know of a report and/or process within F1?
Thanks!

I am new to F1 and working with the attendance process as my first assignment at our church. We do not use the automated check in process (hopefully we will in January) so everything is still done manually. We print rosters and use them for sign in and then to post attendance. An issue that we are having is that a new person may not fill out a new ...

Put me on the request list for your structured Champion Team Meeting Agenda. you made it sound very invited as you noticed.
We are implementing F1 currently and we have held weekly CTM meetings with the agenda to do many things to prepare for our go live date. I am very interested in keeping the meeting going but ...

I would really like to know what other churches are using in situations where there is a request for an event registration to take place. This would be a form of communication between the various ministries and the admin person who actually creates the registration process on F1.
Is there a form that you use that would be generic ...

I can tell you the way I do it for our youth ministry. There is probably a better way to do the combined names on a label and I would be interested in what that is as well, but here is what I have been doing.
I have all of my kids in a group and select a mail merge. I create a mail merge with labels and before inputting the address I add, ...

I was looking for more info on two session I missed at dc09, and they happen to both be two that do not include notes! Is there anyone who went who might be able to share? I am looking for more info on the ''More than just a Rolodex'' and ''Pastors: What Can I Do in 3 Clicks?''
I am trying to put together some 10-20 minute ...

FT - Please let us know the official best practice for saving emails. If everyone is to have their own individual email address then who's email should be saved to the household?
Thanks!

Is there a report that we can run that will tell us the last time a staff member has logged into the F1 portal?
I've tried searching the reports, but am not sure if I'm using the correct terminology.
Thanks!

I have a new Macbook (still learning how to use it). I click edit News & Announcements tab and save the changes. After doing this all my changes erase and I get an error. I can change them just fine on a PC. Any ideas?

Thank you! Both you and Jeff have been a BIG help! We have decided to go with attributes for tracking our youth ministry.
I like your suggestion of tracking attendance with just a laptop. We are averaging about 115 youth a week, so having a couple of volunteers logging attendance may be doable. I do use ''post attendance'' for all of our ...

Thanks for responding! So you just use the status for a regular Sunday morning service and then use attributes to show who attends the youth ministry? You are able to pull all of the reports you need this way?
Thanks,

Yes. That does help. I hope other churches will respond like you have. I would really like to implement that type volunteer access that you currently are using. Thank you!

Hello everyone - I would like to know how your church handles portal access control. We have a large church and we rely upon volunteers quite a bit to help us out (as I am sure each of you do as well). The problem I am having is that I feel like too many volunteers are getting access to the database to do small tasks for staff ...

We are trying to better organize our statuses and sub-statuses and are coming up with some issues having to do with our youth ministry. Right now, the youth ministry has it's own status with sub-statuses under that (infrequent attender, infrequent sunday am attender, visitor, etc.) These are for when someone from the youth ministry primarily just ...

We are working on a good way to display complete event/activities information on the church web site that is being entered in F1. How is anyone else doing this? We want to display all related info about an event, including the building/room and the ministry linked to the event. I have not found a comprehensive report that shows all of ...

Wondering if other churches have adopted any policies regarding the usage of Facebook and Twitter during work hours? What about cell phone during meetings -- on or off? Texting?

I am interested in learning how other churches are keeping track of their volunteer pools through Fellowship One? I would like to track volunteers that are available to help with special projects and have already been through the necessary interviews and background checks.
Do any of your churches offer potential volunteers the ...

We are in our second year of using F1. My question is regarding a best practice situation with participant assignments and what is the best way to keep them updated.
The more activities that one is involved with, the more participant assignments they accumulate. After awhile, this becomes a lot of outdated information attached ...
