  • Re: Asset Tag in Self Check-in Mode?

I'm happy to say that this enhancement will be coming out in the near future.

  • Check-in Report

I would like to be able to run a report of active check-in's. Is this something I can do. I know I can login into the FO website and see them under ministry and then active check-in's but I want to run a report for each class so they know who is checked in and who is not, this will also help with check out. any suggestions on what report I should ...

  • Self Check in

We are moving towards Self check in for our kids ministries.  For those of you who are already using self check in....what do you know now that you wish you had known at the start of your process?  I'd appreciate any advice you would like to offer!  Moe O'Brieneagle brook church centerville, mn

  • Test environment for Check In

We are the VERY green church and about to embark on check in. I am curious to find out how other users who have done this implemented a good test base. In the manual, it suggests setting up activity schedules with recurrences. From what I can see this would not be an ideal appraoch but maybe I am not understanding this. Thanks allRose ...

  • Self Check In for Students

We recently started using Self Check In. We have a separate student building so kids are coming over w/out their parent (and the parent has the key tag.) Our student ministry has exploded almost overnight so we are experiencing looongg lines for assisted check in. We want to get the students using self check in. However, it doesn't seem to be ...

  • Which Assignment supercedes the other?

I should know this by now, but I'm wondering if it's changed since I first came on board with Fellowship.  Does a participant assignment still override a volunteer assignment?

  • Securing check-in computers

In the massive amount of reading I did early on I recall seeing a paper on securing a check-in station.  Does anyone have a pointer to a paper like that?  How are you securing your check-in stations?  How would you do it if you did not have reliable access to a domain? Thanks, Dan

  • Re: Status and Youth Ministry

Thank you! Both you and Jeff have been a BIG help! We have decided to go with attributes for tracking our youth ministry. I like your suggestion of tracking attendance with just a laptop. We are averaging about 115 youth a week, so having a couple of volunteers logging attendance may be doable. I do use ''post attendance'' for all of our ...

  • launching the check in software - HELP - checks for available updates forever!

I need help. When we turn on our kiosks or laptops and start our F1 Check in it goes to checking for availalbe updates. It sits on this screen for anywhere from 5 minutes to typically 30 or MORE. Does anyone else have this problem? Are we missing something???

  • Children visiting with several families

Does anyone have any advice on how to handle children that come with multipal families? Example: Jimmy comes with Bob & Sally week one. Jimmy comes with Dan & Laura the next week. So now Jimmy is in there twice under 2 families, non of which are his actual parents. Right now we have been merging the duplicates into the most recent ...

  • Re: Self Check-In

Ashley,      I can see what you're trying to accomplish by having a visual attendance report.  Another option which other churches are doing is to run an Attendance Roster report such as the M1025 about 15-20 minutes after the service has started.  This would show exactly who is in attendance.  These can be ...

  • Activities vs Multiple Activity Schedules

I had a quick question to see how others handled this situation. My church currently has 3 services for kids. Rather than have ''kids worship'' as an activity and a 9:30, 11:00 and 12:30 schedule, we actually have three separate activities, each with one schedule. I assume that this was set up this way (I just got here) was because our third ...

  • Re: Providing Kiosk Coverage

For our church, each ministry takes care of their own check-in.

  • Providing Kiosk Coverage

I would like to hear from other sites how you handle staffing your kiosks for weekday and weeknight events.  Is the ministry hosting the event responsible for checking in their participants?  Who handles caregiving?  What if you have multiple events checking in at the same time?

  • Staffing assignments with multiple schedule options

We are in the process of getting our volunteers to checkin using self checkin. We have keytags with the volunteers name and barcode on it. What I am trying to figure out is the easiest and most effective way to give staffing assignments to volunteers when not everyone serves using the same schedule. Basically we have a Sat night service and then ...

  • Re: Thumb scanners

Chris, I talked to Dan Bailey from POS Computer Corp (www.POSComputerCorp.Com) at the F1 Conference and he was telling me about the issues they were having in coming up with a cost effective solution for fingerprint scanning that would work with F1. Give him a call and he can explain in detail.

  • Creative ways to get youth groups to check in

We are looking for ways to boost our check in numbers for our two youth groups.  We have both a Jr. High and a Sr. High group which meet on different nights.  There seems to be a gap between the actual head count number and what the system check in reflects.  The gap is biggest in the high school age group.  Currently we are ...
