Yes, you can add them to a group - but it's not automatic. I still encourage Activity Association - particularly if you want to run rosters or use Check-in or Post Attendance. This makes the activity run much smoother. If you're not taking attendance, you can skip the association.

We have some events where our volunteers have to pay a fee (i.e. kids camp). With or without using weblink what's a good way to verify that the volunteer is registered and payed and can check in.
