  • Issue with mass e-amil feature in F1

Hello, My church is pretty new to F1 however we have gone through some pretty extensive training with our parent church so we consider ourselves pretty savvy...  We have been using the group email feature quite a bit and it has worked beautifully... Until Friday... For some reason the email that we sent out on Friday we received an email ...

  • SMS (texts) using Fellowship One

Has anyone successfully implemented ''bulk texting'' using Fellowship One or any other system?  I know there are lots of companies out there to manage this for us, but I'm not familiar with any of them or what is involved.  I've thought about taking a report from F1 with contacts and trying out one of these vendors for bulk texting, but ...

  • Embedded Flash file in Group Email?

Is this possible? I am using an <embed> tag in group email and it seems to show up fine in the preview, but when I send a test to myself, the flash file does not show up. Has anyone done this? Is it even possible?

  • Returned emails: Resending automatically

Is there any way to turn off the resending of group emails that bounce back?  We get this message:   ''Warning: message still undelivered after 12 hours Will keep trying until message is 5 days old'' Sometimes it is still trying to resend after the event has passed.

  • Re: Group Email Unsubcribe

John, When someone unsubscribes by using the Unsubscribe feature in the Group Email app, it only applies to the church code that they received the email from.  This is done by setting that indivdiual's email to Unlisted.  This process does not touch other church databases.  Blessings,

  • Group emails sent from ministry/church rather than person

I was wondering if there is a way to set-up group emails to be sent from our church or a specific ministry rather than an individual. We are pretty new to F1, and I would like to use group email more but am hesitant because group emails come from ''My Name'' rather than ''Our Church Name'' or ''Ministry Name''. I'm not sure that people will open ...

  • Adding Color To Your Group Email

To help build a better design, you can take the logo that is going to be in the email (logo from the ministry or activity), select a couple colors from the logo and use those colors to create some border colors, headers, and different nuance within the email itself.  I found a whole host of color pickers that could help you ...

  • Re: Group email 2.0 being tagged as SPAM

There are whole industries that have formed to combat this with limited success. You can look at a few of the more prominent Email Service Providers like Constant Contact and Campaign Monitor and their sites are filled with tips, tricks, and workarounds for the hundreds of different ISPs and mail clients. However, ultimately they conclude its up ...
