We are working with a development partner on a new site that uses Drupal as the CMS, and our partner has selected Acquia Drupal to help simplify support. Our plan is to tie in to F1 once the new APIs are out.

lquigley is correct, trying to implement / use SOAP probably will not work with that platform - unless it gets extended later on down the road. Regarding DataExchange, it is purely SOAP.
