Hello,
My church is pretty new to F1 however we have gone through some pretty extensive training with our parent church so we consider ourselves pretty savvy...
We have been using the group email feature quite a bit and it has worked beautifully... Until Friday...
For some reason the email that we sent out on Friday we received an email ...

It would be wonderful if F1 would support text-based emails. Is this something that is on your radar? Will happen in the near future?

David,
You can actually get this file within a group. Simply display your group (People > Groups > View All and then click the group name). Click the check box in the header bar and then click the Actions gear at the bottom of the list. Click Export > One record per individual. You can save the Excel spreadsheet on your computer and then ...

Is there a way we can delete an existing Temporary Group prior to the 3 day period? I didn't see a way to delete it, and having it in the list of available groups to email could pose a problem if we accidentally chose that group instead of our intended group.
Thanks for any info you can send this way,
Katie, Cedar Springs Presbyterian ...

FT - Please let us know the official best practice for saving emails. If everyone is to have their own individual email address then who's email should be saved to the household?
Thanks!

Has anyone successfully implemented ''bulk texting'' using Fellowship One or any other system? I know there are lots of companies out there to manage this for us, but I'm not familiar with any of them or what is involved. I've thought about taking a report from F1 with contacts and trying out one of these vendors for bulk texting, but ...

The following is about how churches that use Google Apps,
can email directly out of FellowshipOne by clicking on emails links, without
having to copy the email link first and paste it into the ''To:'' box.
I don't know how many churches use google apps, but it's
quite nice. We use Google Apps Education
edition, which is free for ...

When my device synchronized with Outlook it uploaded all of the information into Fellowship One Portal's database. Have a ...

I have recieved reports from some of our ministry admins stating that they believe messages that they send using group email 2.0 are filtered as SPAM.

First, let me complement you on your email design. I like the organization of the page and content.
I work in the Product Management team at Fellowship Technologies. F1’s Group Email employs the industry standard UTF-8 formatting. Wikipedia defines UTF-8 as:
UTF-8 (8-bit UCS/Unicode Transformation Format) is a ...

The issue should now be resolved. The root cause was that some new users had not provided a Private Email Address when accessing the site for the first time. The forum software requires that every user have an email address. We set any blank email addresses to ''replaceme@test.com'' and this enabled the forum software to function properly again. ...

There are a few
things about work-related emails which annoy me to the point of exasperation. (Undoubtedly
I'm guilty of a few of these from time to time, I'm working on it)
1)
Email
signatures that do not include a contact phone number.
What if I want to reply to your email with a quick phone call from my office or
better yet ...

I'm jumping in at the end here so I hope I'm not being redundant. It's true that the HTML Editor control we provide within F1 had (may still have) a few issues with special characters. However, formatting and layout of HTML emails within a variety of email clients like Yahoo, Hotmail, Entouch, etc., etc., etc. will ...
