The 3rd annual Dynamic Church conference was a huge success! There is far too much information to share in a single blog post so look for more information in the coming weeks. However, I want to get a few details to you now.
Keynote videos, session content, and more
All of the keynote videos, hands-on training labs, and slides from the sessions will be available very soon. The content will be available on both this site, Experience.FellowshipOne.com, and on the conference site, DynamicChurchConference.com.
DC09 Developer Conference
The FT development team is, as always, ahead of the curve. They have already posted the videos, slides, and sample code from their mini-conference. Click here to learn more about the new Fellowship One RESTful API and sample applications ones for the iPhone application, Facebook, MVC, and Expression Engine.
A new Fellowship one developer site will be available in early June so stay tuned!
Thanks to our sponsors and exhibitors!
A special thanks to our sponsors and exhibitors of this year’s conference. Click here for a complete list. However, I want to specifically mention a few.
First, I want to thank LifeTouch, they are an outstanding business and ministry partner. We’re very thankful for their support. Be sure to check their offer to take professional photos of your congregation for free and the household/individual photos can automatically be associated to the member records within Fellowship One.
I also want to thank ProfitStars. They are providing excellent service to our churches for their eCheck transactions and will soon have their Remote Deposit and RemitPlus applications tightly integrated into Fellowship One.
Special thanks to Jarbyco. They provided the cool text message polling features we used before and during the keynote sessions. Be sure to contact them to discuss ways to incorporate texting into your church and youth services.
Huge thanks to our employees!
Each and every one of the FT staff were amazing again this year. The conference committee led by Tammy Polk did an outstanding job in preparation and organization. And the rest of the staff, from the trainers to the room monitors, worked tirelessly to provide an awesome experience for our church partners.
The biggest THANK YOU is reserved for our church partners!
We had our largest attendance yet at the user conference. We are all very thankful for each and every church staff member and lay leader who made their way to this year’s conference to learn how they can get the most out of Fellowship One. We pray that you had a great time of learning and fellowship with others. It is a blessing and honor to serve you!
So what’s next? How about DC10?
The responsibility for future conferences has been passed to the Customer Experience (ACE) team. The ACE team has some big plans for the next calendar year. It’s still premature to provide specifics but I can tell you that we’re looking at three huge changes.
First, we’re actively working on a Fellowship One certification program that will be the cornerstone of future education opportunities like the conference. Second, we are investigating how to provide several one-day, mini-conferences, at regional locations across the U.S. in between the annual conferences. And third, we are in discussions with a new venue for the annual conference in 2010 that will allow us to dramatically cut the cost of admission. We’d love to double the number of attendees next year. Hopefully we’ll see you there!
