A refreshing user experience

In my Waxy.org Links feed there was an interesting link entitled "Moo MiniCards, lovely business cards from your Flickr photos".  Being the Flickr lover that I am, I just had to check this out.  In doing so, I had the pleasure of participating in a refreshing user experience, something that is so rare in today's world of give the user anything and everything they ask for, could ask for, or think they will ask for.

Creating business cards through a wizard can be maddening -- you are inundated with font choice, color, size, weight and decoration.  Making the whole thing a very time consuming and tedious process.  Well, Moo.com has made this process an enjoyable one.

Less choice

Your choices are one sans-serif font or two serif fonts, three colors, bold (or not), and six lines of text.  That's it.  No more, no less.  Allowing me to get in, make my decision and get out.  This gives me the feeling that Moo.com understands creating business cards can be a whip and that they value me as a customer and a user by making the entire process simple and easy.

Great job Moo.com, you're a rare breed.
