DC07 Eye opener

The conference was an eye-opening experience for me.  I know that we're writing software that helps church staff get their jobs done more efficiently, which helps the church do what it was meant to do - minister to people.  At least I thought I knew it.  After this weekend, I realize I didn't really have a good grasp on the reality of it.  The conference was a humbling experience, since it immersed me in the world of church administration and technology.  Talking to so many people who use our software every day gave me a renewed sense of just how much everything we do here impacts church staff and the kingdom of God.

Now I really know what I thought I knew, and that makes me even more excited about the steps we're taking to make our software better than it's ever been.

I heard that you gave a talk on "Mass Synchronization with Fellowship One DataExchange" at DC07. Can you post your notes or PPT file? Thanks.

I'm checking to see if there's an existing delivery mechanism for the presentations. I'll let you know what I find and make mine available if it isn't already.

I'm told a cd is will be sent out soon with all the materials. If you want it sooner, just send me your email address to thardy at fellowshiptech dot com (a little spam protection there) and I will send you my presentation right away.
