We have some users that have multiple functions at the top and giving rights are necessary but not their primary role. More often than not, they will be scrolling past that information

If you are looking up information on your church members which is m y whole job, then anyone in my office could easily see that information that is now she greatly secure.

I just think it's too risky for someone else seeing or getting their hands on it, than where even know if you stumbled on the giving tab you have to know how to use this tab in order to see anything.

A few clicks is not a big deal for the security of the giving information. Possibly just put a link on the page somewhere to take the person to the current giving page. Also giving should not show up in the involvement area or it should be a option we can turn off for everyone, even those that have giving rights.

Contact information (phones, address, emails, web/IM) should be the top info.

I think the setting of having that view collapsed to start with makes sense for reasons discussed. But I still think that even the people with Giving rights enabled would want the contact information at the top of the screen.

However, the direct access to all the other giving information is a security concern for me as well. I try to lock my computer when I walk away from my desk, but sometimes I forget. Also, I am the only one besides the treasurer who spends any time looking at actual contributions and it is almost always a separate process from anything else I am doing in the portal.

Also like how you added the last six months giving "dots" in the same section. Have you thought about doing the same for the household view, showing the dots for the household (and we would know it is for the household since it would be "yellow highlighted"). The reason for that suggestion is related to a version 2 suggestion, that you have the ability to print/export/email the giving section (both individual and household) as well as the "Household Involvement" section. I think you have created a view nice view in those and to be able to get the information out of F1 in some form (rather than a screen print) would be helpful. Also a version 2 suggestion would to be able to view back one year, rather than just 6 months. Glad you are already working for the "force" collapse of the giving information. I think that is the right immediate solution. As you have repeatedly said, it is only viewable to portal users with giving and contribution rights.
