Fellowship One Release v.1.8.1

Fellowship One version 1.8.1 contains the following updates:

Sub Funds
The Add/Edit Sub Funds page is enhanced to ease Sub Fund management. Once a Sub Fund is created, its Parent Fund may not be changed. Additionally, a feature is added to enable selective viewing of Active, Inactive or All Sub Funds. Sub Funds may also be filtered by Parent Fund.

Super Check-in
The Super Check-in function is updated to allow users to edit a Super Check-in that contains at least one activity belonging to a ministry to which the user has Write access. The Super Check-in can be edited even if it is shared by other ministries the user does not have Write permission to. For example, if a Super Check-in has activities for Children’s, Students and Worship services across three different ministries a user only needs write permission to one of those ministries to edit the Super Check-in.

Contact Form Workflow
When a contact form is entered and saved, the page will navigate back to where the process begins. For example: If a contact form is entered via the actions gear on the Search for an Individual page, Fellowship One will take you back to the Search for an Individual screen to search for the next person. This is corrected to establish a more efficient data entry workflow.

Managing Contacts
The security rights for managing contacts is expanded to include Ministry Read along with People Contact permissions.

Online Contribution Statement
A new page is added to the Fellowship One portal to provide enhancements to the printable view of contribution history accessed through WebLink’s Online Giving tool. The Online Statement page can be found in Giving>Contribution Statements>Online Statement. New features to the online statement include ability to enter an Employer Identification Number (EIN), Header notes, Footer notes and an option to show subfunds in the online statement.

The Church Information section must be completed prior to setting up Online Statement Details. Navigate to Church Information via WebLink>WebLink Setup>Church Information. Complete details for Online Giving are available in the WebLink Users Guide (62MB PDF).

Fellowship One Release: v.1.8.0

Fellowship One Portal version 1.8.0 contains the following:

Enhancements:

The Add a Household process has improved to permit address verification in Fellowship One. The new workflow is very conversational in nature and while the page elements have not changed, the layout is easier to navigate and view. Addresses entered into Fellowship One will be cleansed to ensure they are accurate mailing addresses. To verify an address, a combination of the following is required: Address 1 and City and State OR Address 1 and Postal code. Other variations of an address may be entered and saved in Fellowship One, but the address will not be verified. Watch the updated Add a Household video HERE. Note: The address verification feature is not available to churches using a Basic Edition of Fellowship One.

The Household and Individual view pages have been enhanced to display the date last updated when hovering the cursor over address and communication values.

The option to require an email address in a WebLink Contact Form is now possible. To enable this new feature, navigate to the WebLink tab under WebLink Setup>Church Information and select the Require Email Address on web-enabled Contact Form checkbox. This option applies to all of your web-enabled Contact Forms. Download the WebLink User Guide and consult the Setup and Contact Form chapters.

The view household members section in the Individual View has been enhanced to allow the Save page settings option in either the expanded or collapsed state.

Corrected Issues:

In the Individual View, the Attributes and Requirements date control fields have been updated to allow use of the Tab key.

On the Household View screen, the Authorizations section has been corrected to prevent members with a Household Position of Other (extended family) from being automatically authorized. Individuals with a position of Other, will be added as an option for Authorizations, but the checkbox is not automatically selected.

The Attributes and Requirements date fields in the Individual View have been updated to allow dates to be entered in the MM/DD/YYYY format using the numeric keypad.

In the Report Library, two additional options have been added to the Named Date Range drop down: “Next Quarter” and “Next 3 Months.” These selections will not include the current quarter or current month.

WebLink v.1.3.10

WebLink version 1.3.10 contains the following enhancement:

If the option to Require Email Address on web-enabled Contact Form is selected, an asterisk (*) will display next to the email address field on WebLink’s Contact Forms illustrating it is a required field. The Require Email address on web-enabled Contact Form option can be configured in Fellowship One on the WebLink tab under WebLink Setup>Church Information.

Fellowship One Mobile v.1.0.3
Fellowship One Mobile (mobile.fellowshipone.com) version 1.0.3 corrected the following issues:

The search feature in Fellowship One Mobile has been updated to mimic the People Search in portal.

The map feature in Fellowship One Mobile has been corrected to locate and display an individual’s address using Google Maps.

Fellowship One Mobile has been updated to correctly display email addresses flagged as Work in the Fellowship One portal.

Fellowship One Mobile has been updated to display individual photos at the bottom of the screen.

Individuals were displaying incorrect sub status fields when viewing the individual details within Fellowship One Mobile. This issue has been updated to display the correct sub status reflected within the Fellowship One portal.

Hit the IDEAS tab and sort by praise points... #4 on the list is the request to send an email to the parents of participants. Awesome! Great idea! Of course you may also want to send an email to all parents of kids who qualify for VBS; or, for that matter, create a group, export data, create assignments, etc.

Good news! As you know, we are aggressively attacking the ideas list (31 of the top 100 will be closed by the end of Summer) and very soon we will be able to deliver on #4. Check out my latest video and let me know if we need to change anything. Thanks.
