A question was posed to me from our Executive Pastor.  He asked if there's a way for new comers to our church to "register" via our web site so that when they come to church for the first time, and come to check-in, they do not have to go through the "first time visitor" cards.

We have lot's of people inviting and bring friends and neighbors to church and we're looking to speed up the process of 1st time check-in.

I'm thinking there's got to be a creative way to use a web link to accomplish this. Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated 

You could build a form called First Time Visitors to Children’s Ministry.  Then you have the new person go online to create the account and then add their kids.  The form could ask some questions if you wanted to or even register them to the activity in your children’s ministry.  Now you have good people data in Fellowship One to make Check-in go smoothly.
