We are getting ready to start a fall kickoff of Life groups for ladies that will occur every 2nd and 4th Wednesday mornings from Sept to Dec.  We are going to have online event registrations for this.  We think this will attract ladies that attend other churches but would like to attend a morning bible study.  We want to know if the person registering currently attends another church or not and we plan to collect that information through event registration.  We thought it best to set up a new status for these people who attend large events but already belong to another church, so that they aren't targeted and bombarded by our newsletters and things like that.  Does anyone already have a process/status they use for people who are members of other churches in the area but that attend large ladies or men's events?   Thank you for any insight you can give on how to handle this.

We created a status Program Participant used for children & youth who come w/ friends to church events and youth groups but whose parents don't attend, as well as adults who attend programs/Bible studies on our campus but are members elsewhere.  We use the Status Comment box to specify details about which program they attend or participate in. Hope this helps!
