    Managing Small Group Studies

    Our church has a bookstore where members/life group attenders purchase their study materials for their groups.  We would like to be able to store in F1 the name of the study that each group is going through.  When a life group member goes into the bookstore to purchase their life group study, if they don't know the name of the study, the bookstore person could run a query or report in F1 to find out what study each group is in.  Does anyone have any ideas of where we could store this information to attach it to a life group?  Thanks for any input you can give!!! :)

    Although there may be a better way, we use the "Additional Information" field under the Ministry Tab > Activity/Room Setup > Rooms and Locations to keep track of the current study.  Our life group coaches keep this information up to date and also help to manage our library, so it works for us until we find a better way.  Hope that might help you!

    This seems like good information to put in the "Additional Information" field of the small group RLCs.  When you're looking at your list of Small Group RLCs (in the Ministry tab, under Activities), in the Web Link settings, if you deselect "Hidden in Small Group Finder" you can see a field for "Show this additional information."  You could enter the study information there.  If you run report M7024E, that line of information is Column C.  Hope that may help.  Much grace to you.
