    Printer Sharing

Has anyone had luck with sharing one printer between two adjacent children's check-in stations?  The F1 software writes directly to the printer when you click "print tags", so the check-in station does not need the printer driver software installed on the PC.  I'd like to be able to have two computers use one printer to save the cost of buying another printer.

    Re: Printer Sharing

Sorry I didn't reply to your question sooner.  I've worked with one of my church customers that successfully used a Parallel Printer Sharing Device also referred to as a Parallel Auto Switch.  They're pretty inexpensive.  Here's a link to one that should work... http://www.cablesnmor.com/a885028.html.  Please know that this solution is not fully supported by Fellowship Technologies as it has not been tested.

     Blessings,
