Asset Tag in Self Check-in Mode?

Maybe we're just missing it but we've been running check-in with key tags for the past couple of weeks. Apparently (I'm not typically around the check-in station) there is no option to print an asset tag when the kiosk is in self check-in mode. Is this true? If not, is there a setting that needs to be switched to enable it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Check-in Report

I would like to be able to run a report of active check-in's. Is this something I can do. I know I can login into the FO website and see them under ministry and then active check-in's but I want to run a report for each class so they know who is checked in and who is not, this will also help with check out. any suggestions on what report I should run?

Contact Items and follow-up

I am doing research for our executive team. They are wanting a better process for the follow-up of our guests. Once contact items are submitted, what are you doing for guest follow-up? For a church of 2000+ is the guest getting contacted by a pastor or a volunteer? Are they getting a call, letter from the pastor, a hand written note from a staff person? If the contact was submitted on a Sunday or Monday, what is the deadline for a closed contact?

CSS in WebLink

Can F1 write the WebLink Forms to be true CSS instead of using CSS mixed with HTML (see example)?

Because you've hard-coded styles, height, width, etc, it makes editing the CSS very difficult. All of those items can be coded into one CSS file.

Yahoo E-Mail Delayed

I was just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with Yahoo emails being delayed? I wonder if I should ask our contacts to give us other email addresses that won't have this problem?

I saw that the dynamic Church Conference is hosting Groups 2.0 Classes. It says that Groups 2.0 will revolutionize the way we do small groups and how weblink interfaces with it. From the site: “It's a completely different paradigm from the previous Small Groups model and represents the future of Groups in Fellowship One”

Is there any more information on it: screenshots, blogs, staging environments etc? I would love to see how Small Groups are changing in F1.

Background Check Polices/Procedures

We are new to running background checks in Fellowship One. In the past each ministry has been allowed to run their own background checks, review them, and approve/disapprove. What we have found is that each ministry has different requirements for approval/disapproval.

In an effort as to not reinvent the wheel, would anyone be willing to share your policies regarding background checks, who is allowed to see them, your approval process, etc?

How to Save a Query Builder Statement?

After we have gone to the work of "perfecting" a specific compound query statement within the Query Builder tool, how do we save such query statements for later use?

Is there an ability to save these queries, along with a name/title that we enter, and the ability to set these saved query statements as either private or shared (if shared, then other portal users could use the saved query statements, similiar to how People Lists can be either private or shared)?

Especially after using the new F1 Touch app, I would love to see an application for checkin using the ipod touch/iphone. I think it would be an awesome way to do check-in, with a great amount of mobility, low cost entry point, etc. Hopefully it's on your radar!

I think there should be an allowance to put the mobile phone as the main number. It is much more relevant and frustrating when you are forced to place a mobile phone as a home and mobile number in order for it to exist.

Multiple Christmas Services

Our church usually has up to 7 Christmas Eve Services. I was wondering how other churches add these to your activity schedule for your worship services in Fellowship One and how long you keep these activity schedules. At our church if we have to add 7 activity schedules (1 for each service time) and we don't delete these every year, our activity schedules pile up and are a bear. Do you delete them or do you leave them there all the time? There doesn't seem to be a way to make them inactive.

SOS Labels Needed for our Zebra Checkin Printers

SOS! We ordered labels from Dell and they sent us the wrong ones! We have partial rolls that will not get us through this Sunday's service. We have been unable to get the correct labels through Dell. Are there any churches in driving distance from Arlington TX that we might be able to borrow a case of labels for THIS SUNDAY? Matrix across ministries?

Hi all....

I'm looking for a report that will give me 3 things:

1. Who is in a Small Group
2. Who serves in our First Impression Ministry
3. Who has stopped giving last quarter

They don't have to have all three of those things....but rather I'm looking for more of a matrix. Something that will show us if they're in a small group AND serving with first impressions....or maybe if they are in a small group AND have stopped giving last quarter. And in some cases it would probably just show that they stopped giving last quarter and never served in FI/were a part of a small group.

It would only need to reflect a consistent giver having stopped giving. We're not so much interested in those who give randomly here and there, but rather those who were consistently giving and have stepped back.

Small Groups and First Impressions are listed under different Ministries for us so I need a report that will search across ministries. I have searched and searched the report library and haven't gotten anywhere.

Merging Tags under "Manage Your Tags"

Does anyone know how to merge several "similar" tags? ie. I have some tags named Missing, some missing, some tagged misser, one tagged MIA. I'd like to merge them into one tag, let's say: "Missing In Action.

However, each time I try to name these tags something similar, it kicks back to me with an error. Any suggestions?

event registration discount per number of sign up

Hello all,

I searched the forums and did not find any ideas on how to discount the number of signup per family with a particular event.

i.e. -- A family with 4 kids wants to sign up for an event and we would like to give them a discount for the 2nd or more kids. The only way I can see to discount is by percent or dollar discount of the original cost. Using the percent method would have to be against total cost and require multiple promo codes for each of the numbers above the first.

Has anyone found an easier way ?

Easiest way to do assignments

We're new to F1 and I thought I heard someone say that an easy way to do assignments to an activity is just post attendance for a given activity and there is a database operation that occurs nightly that will assign anyone who attended an activity to that activity. Is this true? If so that would be the easiest way for us to do activity assignments (rather than one person at a time using the activity assignment tool).

Group Email Unsubcribe

Okay when we send a group email at the bottom of the email the recipient sees:
This email was sent to someemailaddress@isp.net. You can instantly unsubscribe from these emails: unsubscribe

Since the existing verbage is not clear, my question is this: Does the unsubscribe only effect one church code in Fellowship One?

It is my understanding that when someone unsubscribes an email address, that email address is flagged in the individual churches site and as a result, we can not send emails to that email address. But what I want to know if this - if a person has participated in multiple churches that use F1 and they decide to unsubscribe to all emails from one church, is emails from the other church also impacted in anyway????

(I have an opinion on how unsubscribe should work, but I want to know how it really works in a situation like I have described.)

Church Metrics

I am doing some research for our church and would like to pull out data from F1 but I'm having a hard time locating the reports I need. This is the information I need:

1. New People to our church broken down by month. I'm guessing we would use the "First Record" field but I'm getting some odd results with that. I want to know all the people who touched our system (F1) for the first time by dates regardless of if their status subsequently changed.

2. Weekend Attendance - I want it to include head count, volunteers and children. We use check-in so the children's numbers should be easy. We count people in the worship auditorium and record them in the head count. I'm looking for a total weekend service number.

3. People who have Left - I want to know all the people, month by month who have left our church (ie their status changed to non-attender).

I'd appreciate any tips or help.

Youth Directory Report (P1035)

I have been tasked with creating a directory for the youth group. The youth minister has an idea of what he wants. Thus far I have not been able to find a match in the report library. Finally they decided the format of P1035 would do so I set out to create the youth directory.

P1035 has all the filters I was looking for but there's this one required field: Attribute. Based on the description the attribute is for display only and will not be used to filter. The first question that comes to mind is if it's only for display only, why is it required? Well, I selected the criteria including the required display attribute. Thus far, my youth directory only contains 1 person. I've generated similar reports using similar filters with success. Is this report actually filtering on the attribute field?

Overall, I really like Fellowship One. I would love it if not for the lack of reporting capability. It is very frustrating. Anyway, any suggestions on how to make this work would be great.
