Email Notification when Someone Replies to Your Post

Have you thought about an email notification system that notifies the person posting when another person replies to the post? This could be a simple check box that tells the system to send you an email everytime someone posts a reply to a thread to which you have posted.

Basically it is a "track this thread" notification. Most people will not have time to monitor the entire site by clicking on the "posts you have not read" shortcut. But if there was a shortcut to review "posts to threads you have posted to" and "posts to threads that you are montoring" (whether you have posted to them or not) would be helpful.

But ulimately, I would like to "opt" in for email notification so I don't have to keep comming back to check the site.

Never mind my suggestion. I can see that some of the things I suggested are there, just not where I expected them. For example:

Email notification can be selected on any thread. But it was not select able as part of the posting option. It is selectable when viewing a post/thread. And you can get email notification on anything.

Tracking an entire forum is possible, through the Forum Subscriptions on the right side of the page.

Tracking yours posts is also available on the right side of the page.

I also can see that you can select favorities (posts and people posting). I have not found where you can reference those things you can selected as favorites. Where do you click to find the stuff you selected as favorites?
