    Merging

    How do I merge a couple that has recently gotten married, from individual records to a new household?

    The man was a record by himself, the lady was part of a family, so I need to remove her from the family and make her a spouse to him.

    I think your best option would be to use the "Move/Split" feature to find that young lady and then move just her to the household with the young man.  At that point, you can change her name (as appropriate) and her household member type.  This will move any records tied to her specifically, but will not move anything that was tied just to her household.
