    Check-in Kiosks for Student Ministries

    Hey everyone,

I have been looking everywhere for a kiosk system for our Student Center that houses our college and student ministries. I would really like something that is kind of modern but very functional. I looked at the design that was on the blogs, but wanted something that was able to be used for self and assisted check-in. Let me know what you guys find or have.

Just thought you guys would like to check out ikea.com for some furniture. We just bought two desks and chairs for our check in systems in Atlanta. Ikea is all over the country in bigger cities. They are really modern and good for college and student ministries.

Re: Check-in Kiosks for Student Ministries

We actually built our own. They are mobal units that function for both assisted and unassisted. The cpu is stored below and then the monitor is above. The top to our unit comes up and then slides down behid the monitor so its out of the way when the unit is being used. Then when they are not in used the top comes down and it locks along with the cabinet doors so the entire system is secure.

    Kim,

Can you send me some pics so I can put them on the forum?

    Matthew,

I am not sure where you are planning on posting the pictures but I think consolidating pictures and diagrams/plans for kiosks would be a great thing. Rather then just having them in the forum section, can you guys at FT create a special blog for check-in station kiosks where all this stuff can be consolidated (and the posts managed). I noticed some pictures of some kiosks in another forum thread from 2006 and 2007. If possible you could start by getting that information posted. Keeping it all consolidated would be more helpful than having to search through forums.
