    Providing Kiosk Coverage

I would like to hear from other sites how you handle staffing your kiosks for weekday and weeknight events.  Is the ministry hosting the event responsible for checking in their participants?  Who handles caregiving?  What if you have multiple events checking in at the same time?

    Re: Providing Kiosk Coverage

As far as the weekend children's ministry check in goes, are First impressions team takes care of all of that.  they provide the actual check in people along with greeters at the door as the guests are arriving.  The first impressions team serves on a rotating basis once a month.  We do run two services and they serve at both of them.

The Good:  The children's ministry does not need to worry at all about staffing that.  It takes a big load of the children's director. That ministry would be a lot to recruit for depending on the size of your ministry.

The Bad:  Since it is run by our first impressions director you don't have as much imput as you would like.

For our church, each ministry takes care of their own check-in.

    Hi Sarah,

For our weekday and weeknight events, the hosting ministry is responsible for staffing the kiosks for participants and caregiving. If we have mulitple events checking in at the same time, they will each use different kiosks and provide their own staff, etc..
