I haven't heard any new info recently on data exchange.  I am wondering if there is any chance in the near future that there will be a way to traverse the activity structures.  Read access via XML would be wonderful for these as it would allow us to display our own verison of the small group finder.

 Also, here is a spin off question I had posed to our delivery manager.  What is the chance that Fellowship One will invest some resources into re-vamping the group finder.  It's a great tool but seems to be worthy of an update or some customizablitly out of the box as it requires visitors to know how to use it.  There is so easily a chance that a visitor to your site will run through the drop downs and easily come up with no matching groups once or twice before getting a hit and for us, that could be enough to make someone bypass joining a group or just moving on and not getting plugged in at the church. 

We have some ideas of what we'd like to accomplish as far as being able to see pictures of the group leader with a description of the group, etc. 

 What are the chances of opening up Data Exchange so activites/small groups would be readable or the chance of a re-vamped small group finder (2.0 ??)

Hi Collin,

While I cannot point out specific enhancements planned for Data Exchange, I can tell you this:

1. Small groups will be getting some much-needed attention this year, and;
2. Continuing to open up access to the product by building out the API will be on ongoing theme

Hello! I see that thist post was dated last April.  What is the status of the small group project that's being worked on? I was told this summer by Fellowship it would start to be launched early winter...which is around now.
