    First Time Attending Kids

I was just wondering if anyone has anything special you do to a child's nametag that specifies the child as a first time attending child?  We were looking for a way for teacher's to be able to tell it was a child's first time just by looking at their nametag.  Let me know if you have any ideas.

    Thanks!

As long as the person was added to the database under a new household, the code on the name tag begins with a "V"; name tags never start with a "V" if they are not new to the database.

It's not high tech or fancy... but we put a smiley face sticker on their name tag! It helps the teachers see the new ones right away! The kids seem to like the special sticker too!!

We have a dedicated First Time Guest check-in desk. We used labels that are lime green at this desk. It lets leaders know what child is a 1st time guest by the color of their label. It also allows the leader that is checking the child out of class to visit with the parents and see how they enjoyed the day based on the color of the security card.

We use white labels on our stations were "regulars" check-in.
