Managing kids from 1st grade to high school graduation

We are trying to include students using their graduation year such as the class of 2007. How can we best do this with F1.  Can we enter a group of students at one time or do we have to enter kids one at a time. Is there a way to automaticly assign them to a graduating class when we receive their birthdate? Would you use a RLC or an attribute?  Is there anyone out there dealing with this, please let me know!

We found the best way to do it is with an Attribute Group called High School Graduation Year. Then set attributes for Class of 2007 - 12th, etc. Each year you can edit the Attribute description to change the grade. You do enter kids one at a time. There is a plan for mass manipulation. I believe it is later this year.

We track grades the same way, as an attribute. We went through last year and confirmed the grades of all of our students and updated them accordingly. When promotion time came, I placed a ticket with F1 and they mass moved the attribute assignments, as we only track grade and not graduation year. I'll be really glad when they release a mass manipulation option like there is for assignments.

Thanks for the reply Dan.  My only comment would be to track the year of graduation as an attribute, but not the grade.  In other words, "2007" or "Class of 2007" as opposed to "Class of 2007 - 12th"... This way you do not have to update the attribute every year and it lasts with them into their young adult years as well.
