How to Save a Query Builder Statement?

After we have gone to the work of "perfecting" a specific compound query statement within the Query Builder tool, how do we save such query statements for later use?

Is there an ability to save these queries, along with a name/title that we enter, and the ability to set these saved query statements as either private or shared (if shared, then other portal users could use the saved query statements, similiar to how People Lists can be either private or shared)?

    Thanks.

I would like to see the same thing, it has been frustrating to not have a saving feature within the query.  I have submited a suggestion through support - maybe they already have it in the creation process??

Good and bad news... First, the bad news is "no, Fellowship One cannot do that today".  The good news is that we aren't too far away from providing this functionality.  We have organized a project we call "Query Builder 1.2" that contains many features, but a few of note include:

    • Save Query
    • 40+ additional fields to query; including security related fields such as financial elements
    • Include quick filters for deceased and inactive

We expect this to be a Q1 2007 delivery.

Saving a query is on the fellowship one roadmap. Until they have this capability we do a screen print of the compound query. That gives the user the ability to recreate the exact query.

Unfortunately, Doug, there appears to be no current way to do this! This is my biggest wish for Fellowship One right now.

We have many enhancement requests with Query Builder... save a query, addition of missing fields, output control, updated UI, etc.  Will the new report builder tool provide the solutions people are using query builder for today?  Get a peek at why I believe it will answer the majority of demand...

check it out here -> Will Query Builder replace Query Builder?
