What are you using to manage events?

We have been experimenting with www.centraldesktop.com and have seen some success. It allows us to repeat it in future years, but I am very interested in any other tools people might be using for such things.

    Hi,

We are currently looking for software for event tracking as well as purchase tracking.  We are looking at Numara "Track it" software.  Track it is a huge software package . . . $5,000 is their minimum start up.

If you have Windows 2003 Server, there is a free plug in for event management.  I will have to do some research to see what the requirements are . . .

We used track it to track all of our help desk calls in my previous life. I didn't know it had an event management module. They should have something cheaper than the $5000 deal. $5000 is probably the enterprise version that uses SQL, I used to have a 5 user license for about $1500.00

There is another one we are looking at . . . EMS.  It looks decent and would help the end user greatly.

We're using Logos Scheduler, *yick*  can't stand it.

We are praying and hoping that F1 chooses to implement event managment and scheduling into their software within the next few years or we'll be switching to another platform probably browser based.

We're using Basecamp, http://www.basecamphq.com/. Looks like it is similar to Central Desktop but lower in price.

    Hi Wtrmrk,

We use Basecamp to track projects here. I'm curious how you use it to track events? Are you tracking the preparation for the event or the event itself?
