We have an annual golf tournament to raise money for our youth missions department. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. We usually have about 120 players. This will be our first year with F1 and I am excited to be able to do all of the registration online. The tournament isn't until May, but I want to get a head start on setting this up. Does anyone have any best practices for this type of online registration?
I am struggling because I need to be able to accept single registrations as well as foursomes, get their lunch options and find out whether they will be staying for the BBQ dinner. My biggest problem is trying to figure out how to do the foursome vs. single registrations. We have a lot of foursomes that register where one person will put in the team name and the others will register separately, but list what team they will be playing on. I would love a way to set it up so that F1 does the participant assignment with the Foursome listed so that I can just run a report and see all of the Foursomes along with any people that have not registered as part of a foursome. Is this possible?
We also do an early-bird special that runs from Jan-Feb. How would you suggest that I do the payment side? Should I just give out a code for the early-bird special? Would that mean that people could still use this code after the end of the special (I would like to avoid that happening?) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
