Alex,
I am not sure that I 100% understand your question but I will try and
answer. Since people sponsoring other people for an event can be tax deductible
then you will have to track the sponsors money in a contribution fund.
From your post you said that you were sponsoring part of their fees. This
implies that they have to pay something. You can either have them
register online and pay the full amount or a down payment. Please see the
WebLink guide for more information on how this is done. Then after
someone is registered you can look at the sponsorship money and determine how
much of a refund you can give back to the people that have registered.
Again this can all be done via WebLink. Without more information on the
type of event, money involved, if you are even using WebLink, etc.. that is my
best help.
