How to Save a Query Builder Statement?

After we have gone to the work of "perfecting" a specific compound query statement within the Query Builder tool, how do we save such query statements for later use?

Is there an ability to save these queries, along with a name/title that we enter, and the ability to set these saved query statements as either private or shared (if shared, then other portal users could use the saved query statements, similiar to how People Lists can be either private or shared)?

Matrix across ministries?

Hi all....

I'm looking for a report that will give me 3 things:

1. Who is in a Small Group
2. Who serves in our First Impression Ministry
3. Who has stopped giving last quarter

They don't have to have all three of those things....but rather I'm looking for more of a matrix. Something that will show us if they're in a small group AND serving with first impressions....or maybe if they are in a small group AND have stopped giving last quarter. And in some cases it would probably just show that they stopped giving last quarter and never served in FI/were a part of a small group.

It would only need to reflect a consistent giver having stopped giving. We're not so much interested in those who give randomly here and there, but rather those who were consistently giving and have stepped back.

Small Groups and First Impressions are listed under different Ministries for us so I need a report that will search across ministries. I have searched and searched the report library and haven't gotten anywhere.

Merging Tags under "Manage Your Tags"

Does anyone know how to merge several "similar" tags? ie. I have some tags named Missing, some missing, some tagged misser, one tagged MIA. I'd like to merge them into one tag, let's say: "Missing In Action.

However, each time I try to name these tags something similar, it kicks back to me with an error. Any suggestions?

Church Metrics

I am doing some research for our church and would like to pull out data from F1 but I'm having a hard time locating the reports I need. This is the information I need:

1. New People to our church broken down by month. I'm guessing we would use the "First Record" field but I'm getting some odd results with that. I want to know all the people who touched our system (F1) for the first time by dates regardless of if their status subsequently changed.

2. Weekend Attendance - I want it to include head count, volunteers and children. We use check-in so the children's numbers should be easy. We count people in the worship auditorium and record them in the head count. I'm looking for a total weekend service number.

3. People who have Left - I want to know all the people, month by month who have left our church (ie their status changed to non-attender).

I'd appreciate any tips or help.

Youth Directory Report (P1035)

I have been tasked with creating a directory for the youth group. The youth minister has an idea of what he wants. Thus far I have not been able to find a match in the report library. Finally they decided the format of P1035 would do so I set out to create the youth directory.

P1035 has all the filters I was looking for but there's this one required field: Attribute. Based on the description the attribute is for display only and will not be used to filter. The first question that comes to mind is if it's only for display only, why is it required? Well, I selected the criteria including the required display attribute. Thus far, my youth directory only contains 1 person. I've generated similar reports using similar filters with success. Is this report actually filtering on the attribute field?

Overall, I really like Fellowship One. I would love it if not for the lack of reporting capability. It is very frustrating. Anyway, any suggestions on how to make this work would be great.

Report Builder

I was so excited last spring (08) to see the Report Builder was in development. To me, it is essential that churches be able to create their own reports. Did I miss this? Do we have the functionality yet? Or when can we expect to be able to create our own reports?

Excel Template?

Each month I have to format our volunteer schedules after pulling them from F1's Report Library. Does anyone know of a way to create an Excel Template and import the report data into it so that it is already formatted each month?

Weekend Snapshot Report?

Total Weekend Attendance
Attendance per Children's Class
Total Giving for that weekend

Is there a report that already exists with this data? Can you please let me know how I would find it?

Small Group Attendance Report?

Our Small Group Director is looking for a report that will show her the attendance by small group for a given period of time in a graph or chart. She likes the way it shows up for each Small Group leader in the Group Manager View of Attendance. Does anyone know of a report like this that she can run that will give her that view for each small group? Any help or suggestions would be great!

M3024 - No longer allows to select by Activity Schedule

We have relied heavily on M3024 to track current pre-assignment counts at the Activity Schedule level. The report has changed and it is no longer possible to select Activity Schedules. Why has this report changed? Is there another report that will serve this function?

Church Directory with NO ADDRESSES

I am trying to find a report to pull a directory of households that just shows phone numbers and emails. I found the Condensed Church Directory but even when I select NO on the Show Address, it still pops up. How can I get it to go away????

A few of my coworkers and I have noticed something odd and nothing more than just irritating about the reports and I wondered if anyone else was noticing the same thing.

It's easiest to explain in an example, so when I open report M1119, the first ministry selected is Adult, but none of the other information about that ministry appears until I select a different ministry, allow that information to load, and then go back and select Adult.

This happens for all of the reports.

Hopefully that makes sense. Is anyone else experiencing this?

NEED A REPORT - Based on Head/Spouse status that have children

Getting a report for this might not even be the best way to do this. Here's what I need to do:

We have one children's status that is child. Under that status is a substatus: child of reg.attender or member.

Weekly, we update adult's statuses from infrequent attender to regular attender and vise versa based on their attendance. Once we do that however, their children's status needs to be changed too, either to child or child with the substatus child of reg. attender of member.

So, I would like to get those children of newly changed status members into a group to do a mass action. I thought that at least I could get a report of all those who are of the status reg. attender who have kids, and then manually type those kids into a group to do the mass action. I cannot find a report that will give me that.

Whether you have a report or you can suggest another way to do this, I would be very grateful!

I'm hoping someone can recommend a report for me.

We would like to clean up our database and relabel those individuals (no matter the status) that have not attended (any event) in the past 365 days.

It would be great if this report could create a Temporary Group so that I could do a Mass Action status change on.

pending background checks - report?

Is there a report out there that will pull up pending background checks? I found one that said it pulled up the status on the background checks, but it just showed "Complete" or "Rejected". I think it was A5006E.

I am looking for these, because I think I've made a mistake in entering some of them. I selected that they were "pending" a background check, thinking I could (or the person incharge or those) go back in and change it once they came back. Or, that they would be automatically changed once they came back...like the other ones were done, automatically. But now, there are two Background checks in some of the profiles: (1) that still states it is pending, the one I entered in, and (2) the one that says completed, that was done automatically.

Does anyone know of a way to clean these out?

F1 Reporting

Just wondering how other users feel about the reporting capabilities of F1. We have been using the product since the beginning of the summer and have found the reporting to be extremely difficult and non-intuitive. I love the potential for ministry that I see in F1 but so far I see that it is being hindered by the difficulty of getting information out of the system. We transitioned over from Shelby and we loved the reporting capabilities in that system. If we could combine the features of F1 with the robust reporting of Shelby we'd be extremely happy. Anybody else have any comments on this?

#TopReports

I just noticed that there's a new tag called "#TopReports" under F1 Tags in the Report Library. It has the # sign in front of it so it can be at the top of the list. Anyway, just noticed it, I don't know how new it is, but I have found it helpful in finding reports that I didn't know existed. Also it's nice to be able to click that first, and then drill down using the other tags to find exactly what I'm looking for.

Help.... I've been trying to use the query builder to pull people with a participant attendance record and with an email address.... I keep getting results of folks without emails. I've put in three different requiremnets to get email addresses ex. equal to "listed" type "email" value "@" . Is there something I'm missing???

Weekly Ministry Report Comparison

I am wondering if anyone uses a report that compares attendance for all the activities of each ministry that took place within a particular time period for the current year and compares it to the same information from another year? We are looking for a report that that provides the overall breakdown by Activity, then breakdown by RLC and then a graph? We have looked through the Report Library and can't seem to find one.

We are working on refining our report in case there is not one so we can submit a report request, but this is getting quite complicated and frustrating running a report in FellowshipOne and then transposing the numbers from that report into an Excel spreadsheet!

Report that filters ONLY by Attribute End Date

Hey everyone, we keep track of our baptisms by entering them as follows:

Attribute Group: Maturity (Spiritual) Experiences

Attribute: CAMPUSNAME-Baptism

When someone is baptized, they are added with that attribute and an attribute end date ONLY. Our data entry folks have never put a start date on baptism. I can use query builder to look at all baptisms within a given date range, filtering by end date. However, I've tried multiple reports and can only find those that look at start date and end date. Since there is no assigned start date, I can't find a report that will provide me with reasonable data. I don't want to use Query Builder every time, as it is more time consuming (other things we do may require me to input 20+ and/or statements to get data!). Can anyone provide some suggestions? Maybe I'm just putting in the wrong filtering info in some of the more common attribute reports???
