    Securing check-in computers

In the massive amount of reading I did early on I recall seeing a paper on securing a check-in station.  Does anyone have a pointer to a paper like that?

How are you securing your check-in stations?  How would you do it if you did not have reliable access to a domain?

    Thanks,

    Dan

Look at the Answers section of the Support option within F1.  Answer ID 73 is titled "How do I lock down our Check-in and Internet access computers?" and has good info.

Thanks for the reply.  I eventually re-found that article.  I was pretty unimpressed with it though.  Perhaps because the first two entries in PIC1.jpg are wrong.

They have a login item of "c:\checkinapp\shitchcheckinappstart".   That is neither the location, nor the name, of the current check-in app.  They also specify a proxy server.  I didn't look at much past that.

I am using Microsoft's Steady State.  Steady State and sysprep do not play well together, so I put a RunOnce entry for NewSID in the image.  It seems to work well.
