    Recommendations on Nursery Paging Systems

I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a nursery paging system for up to several hundred kids.  We have just been putting numbers on our sanctuary screens to this point, but like the idea of individual pagers with barcodes that can be scanned into F1 as kids are checked in.

    Thanks in advance!

I do not have a paging system to recommend sorry.  But I did want to speak to the underlying issue.  Are you finding that parents are not in the sanctuary and therefore putting the names on the screen is not meeting your needs?  I have worked with churches in the past that while the worship service is running they are also having adult Sunday school.  This makes it very difficult to find the parents.  We have developed a report in Fellowship One where you can put in the receipt tag code and it will tell you what classroom or volunteer position they are filling that day.  M1020 is the report number.

One issue that I have with paging systems is the cost.  Every church that I have worked with finds that the initial cost is high but the replacement cost for lost pagers annoys them terribly.

    I hope that helps,
