Hi! we are new to F1 and with our previous software, we could export a file and have their company print, stuff and mail our statements. We do over 4000 every quarter. Our local companies told us they couldn't do that unless all the statements were only one page. Several of our statements are multi page. Does anyone have a suggestion of companies that can handle this? If you are a large church, how do you process your statements. Our pastor doesn't want to take a step "backwards" and have to do them here at the church! Any suggestions

Hi Susan,

Currently, the contribution statement reports in our report library (G1001, G1002), will allow you to itemize contributions above a certain amount.  For instance, I only want to itemize individual gifts above $250, but I want total giving to be displayed in the summary line.  If I gave 5 $100 gifts and one $500 gift, I would only see an itemization based on the $500 gift, but I would see my total giving as $1000.  This will help to limit the number of pages you need to print out for contribition statements.  Currently, we have no way to explicitly say "fit onto one sheet".

Hopefully, this will help you minimize the number of sheets printed and allow you to use your current solution for sending out contribution statements.

That might work, but does anyone use a third party company to process and mail their statments?  Do large churches do this all in house?

I had F1 develop a one page contribution statement.  At the ned of the year we had contributors that were receiving a 4 or 5 pager statement which pushed up our postage cost.  This may solve your problem using a third party mailer.

Is this statement customized to your church or is it one other churches could use? I would really like to see what it looks like. Can you give me a report number or send me a copy of the statement?

I would also like to see the statement.  If this was something customized for your church perhaps our church could request to have it accessible to us as well.  This is a big problem for us too.  Thanks!
