Has anyone had any experience with Evolution on a Linux box? I am using SuSE linux version 9 pro, and I was wondering about the implications of making Evolution a mail server for Macintosh clients on a 2003 Server network using AD.

Hi,
We are currently in the middle of configuring a Linux print server (Fedora Core) for our Macintosh clients. What do you recommend as a Linux print service: Samba or CUPS broadcasting?

Hi,
Don't call yourself a moron. The only stupid questions are the ones not asked. Here is a hyperlink that will best describe what the toaster is and does. It is form the old Commodore Amiga days.

There are no ramificaitons on using the applications at different times. Unfortunately when you use both apps at the same time (recording while showing powerpoint slides)then the issue becomes a multitasking one.
When you are talking about running two application simultaneously on one PC, the issue becomes whether the OS can do true ...

Hi,
That depends on the type of service you want to record. If you want the praise and worship music with the message, then you would need to patch in a CD recorder device or computer where the outputs are on the board. The easiest method is to purchase a standalone CD recorder device and record the message that ...

Also, I saw that a DLL file will have to be implemented. I currently have MSVC++ version 6. I probably need Studio .net with C# compiling.

Hi,
Finally, thanks for the reply. I have researched all of the calls to no avail. I even tried colors on the cube (which does work). I even attempted "dumming down" my bitmap image to 8bit (256) color. Still a good compile, but the image does not display on the cube.
Probably time to get an OpenGL book.

Yes, I have checked out his site previously. I haven't looked at specifics though. The industry seems to have workarounds but not true Mac/PC integration.

Hi,
Go with ITunes. It is a free download and you should be able to convert any file to mp3 format. I find ITunes easier to work with than Windows media player.
Itunes will even create CD's with the industry standard cda track that will play on virtually any playback device.
If you would like to podcast, just write a ...

There is another one we are looking at . . . EMS. It looks decent and would help the end user greatly.

Since it is an intermittent connection, the issue may be directly related to F1. It depends on the traffic congestion and packet collision on certain gateways and routers. Also, we have found that certain times of the day, the connection to F1 is at times slow but not unusable.

We are currently using Easy Worship. We are using it because of its capability to show video or live camera shots in the background while the static text is up.

Hi,
You should just be able to access the database (Access, Oracle, MySQL,etc) with an xml file. The code below is a basic retrieval of Check In. Here is the code example:

jlandon: Our church is too cheap fore macs. I use Vegas and DVD Architect for media stuff. Wish I had a mac :)
Actually, for the price of a cheap PC plus the software, you can get a Mac mini that comes with all the media development software you will ever need.

Hi,
I am currently working on a login script for Fellowship one where the user can just login to Fellowship One from our site. I have the Data Exchange documentation.
Any ideas where to begin?

Hi,
I can answer the issue regarding the computers. A typical PC can be stored under conditions between 35 F and 120 F without damage. If there is excessive humidity, then you are looking at moisture on IC's, etc.

Hi,
We are currently looking for software for event tracking as well as purchase tracking. We are looking at Numara "Track it" software. Track it is a huge software package . . . $5,000 is their minimum start up.
If you have Windows 2003 Server, there is a free plug in for event management. I will have ...
