Currently there is no way to print only the first name using the Fellowship One check-in application. You could pre-print the name tags using different versions of reports created specifically for the Zebra printers that will help save ink. This does not help you with real time attendance tracking.

Keith,
A5000 Should meet your needs for a photo directory. If not you can find 5 more by typing in Photo Directory. As far as using WebLink for an online directory of all members there are a few things you should consider before doing that. First, people are moving towards providing less information not more because of the ...

First and foremost you need to let them know that their ministry is important enough to track in Fellowship One. Also, there is not one thing we do as a company without saying to ourselves ''How will this effect Celebrate Recovery, Confidential Giving, Confidential Notes, and other confidential activities?'' You should start by ...

ddoell,
That is a concern that I have also with this type of contact. I have asked for the same confidential notes area available to the small group leaders that is available in the portal. One thing that could help is if you make the ministry the notes are tied to more confidential (i.e. less people have access to that ministry) then ...

John,
This is a great question. There is no hard and fast rule as to how activities should be setup. I am a delivery manager at Fellowship Technologies and here are some questions that I have and the impact of the answers. Do you have to register? This affects the Registration RequirementsHow they are assigned: Activity, Activity ...

Debbie,
The contact that is created is the primary way to track the individual receiving care. It is more than attendance for them because you want to know what happened. So the notes that are tracked with the contact are just as critical.
I also have a swim lane document that will show you the detailed process flow for the contacts ...

One thing you need to consider is how many people you are able to process per check in station on Sunday morning. Our typical number we use is 100 people in a 15 minute period using assisted check in for regular attenders. If this is truly an outreach event and you are expecting 9K in new people that will be a very large number of ...

I heard from a reliable source that the new version of Mobile F1 is being tested right now and the training staff is even adding a training video for this functionality. Don't quote me on that though.
I am personally excited about Mobile F1 because I am going to buy the new IPhone when it comes out in 2 weeks. Of course the ...

Susan,
You might want to edit the names of the attributes and use graduation year if you are not already doing so. It will save you a lot of time over the long haul.
-
Bob,
I would agree with Matt. The best way to do this is to use the drop down options in the Weblink. You can either use one answer with multiple options as Matt suggested or have room for up to 4 different kids to be registered using one drop down that says Register 2nd child with a price of $20 then have places for name/details for ...

Seth,
You could enter them in as cash which does not require account number or routing number. Then you could enter the check number in the memo field if necessary.

Karen,
Yes it is me. I forgot to sign my blog. It was so good to see you and Cory at the conference this year. If I ever get another church in Ohio I will definitely stop by and see you guys. Once a year is just not enough with the Estabrooks.

Kim,
Can you send me some pics so I can put them on the forum?
-
Jason,
Send me the pics and I will put them in the post.
Thanks,

I would also say it depends on the age of the individual and the situation. If it is a child and they are established as a visitor in the household that brought them then you can put the address on the individual record and not the household record. The problem with creating a new household is that if the family brings that child again ...

Tara,
I love this new tool. The one thing it is missing is the ability to track who has taken what video. If you could keep looking for a solution to that issue it will be perfect.
Thanks,

If by ''the software'' you mean Fellowship One then it sounds like a bug. I have not heard of this issue from my churches yet. Of course they might just be assuming that the problem is with the check scanner and not F1. Please submit a support ticket so that we can resolve this issue.
-
While I can not say that you are wrong about the problem being related to the number of zero's in front of the account number I would guess that it isn't the problem. Some checks just don't scan very well. I am guessing it has more to do with the checks themselves rather than the account number which doesn't really effect the scanning ...

Where are you getting these printers and what is the price your hoping to get for them. Will this be a good deal for some of my smaller churches?
