Hi - you enter Organizations/Companies thru the Giving module.

No can do! (It drives me NUTS!) Data gurus feel that it's better to leave them in the system and simply change their status. I created a dummy person for this purpose and when I want somebody out of my database, I merge them with that person. Works for me :-)

We set up an Attribute of ''Baptism'' and record the date, as well as who baptized the individual.

Nope, can't do it. You can change their status to inactive, and then add a substatus to clarify why they're no longer active, according to whatever best suits your church's record-keeping needs. Inactive individuals don't show in reports unless you select ''inactive'' to be included in the search.

Is there a way to change the status, date, comment, of an entire family at once vs. having to do each person individually, i.e. from member to inactive, etc. because they've moved or something similar, when obviously the status for all family members is the same? Mike, we found that the easiest way to deal with this was to give them the option to insert how many people they were paying for, and then what those people's names were as part of the Question set-up in the web link form:
