I searched the forums and did not find any ideas on how to discount the number of signup per family with a particular event.
i.e. -- A family with 4 kids wants to sign up for an event and we would like to give them a discount for the 2nd or more kids. The only way I can see to discount is by percent or dollar discount ...

You can handle this using two different methods as outlined below:
You can create a different Activity specifically for Saturday night's room structures and age groups.
You can keep the Activity as is and have all of the rooms open on Saturday night. When children are checked into a room that is combined into ...

Currently there is not an ability to give a description to an activity. The only thing that is remotely close is the ability to provide an Activity Type, but this still would not service this purpose. Activity Types are used more for reporting purposes across multiple ministries.
