  • Re: Unmarried couples -- household position

We created an individual attribute group called Relationships. Under that, we have parent, child, aunt, uncle, ex-spouse, deceased spouse, partnered (living together), etc. That way we can add family information to a person when the family isn't living together.

  • household vs individual email for households with children

For households with children, since we do mass emails once a month, what is the best way to enter email addresses when only one of the parents has provided personal information (i.e cell and email address)?  If we enter the email and/or cell phone under the individual, when we pull out reports for ''emails of households with children'', ...

  • New Family Registration via the web B4 check-in?

A question was posed to me from our Executive Pastor.  He asked if there's a way for new comers to our church to ''register'' via our web site so that when they come to church for the first time, and come to check-in, they do not have to go through the ''first time visitor'' cards. We have lot's of people inviting and bring friends and ...

  • Cell Phones, Outlook and F1 Contacts

I would be interested in hearing suggestions from churches on how they keep their pastors cell phones updated with membership phone numbers & other related info. One of our pastors was going to have a secretary type all of our church members names and numbers into his cell phone. This brought up a question that I have been considering since: ...

  • Group email 2.0 being tagged as SPAM

I have recieved reports from some of our ministry admins stating that they believe messages that they send using group email 2.0 are filtered as SPAM.  Answer id 284 states  'In some cases, a Spam filter may prevent the delivery of messages being sent from Fellowship One utilizing the Group Email feature. If you are not ...

  • Re: Returned/Rejected E-mail : Best Practice?

Welcome to the world of mass email. It is a messy world. Bounced emails do not come in a consistent format that you can filter or search to find ones with invalid addresses. That means you are stuck reading each bounced email. FT is developing group email to provide some management solutions. I do not know the timing on their ...

  • Returned/Rejected E-mail : Best Practice?

Howdy, I am wondering what other churches are doing in regards to returned or rejected e-mails? For example, this morning I sent an e-mail inviting 1,600+ men to a Men's Summit we are hosting this Friday and several hundred of these kicked back to me. What are others doing to combat this? Are others even having this issue? I ...

  • Setting up contact forms for multiple sites

Anyone else setting up contact forms for a church running multiple campuses? We currently have 6 campuses and the way we are set up now we have our contact forms (such as the form visitors fill out in worship) duplicated for every campus. I was thinking of trying to consolidate them into a single form but wanted to see if anyone else has done this ...

  • Re: F1 Reporting

Yes, I've used the Report Library and I find it very confusing and extremely hard to find the report I need. The naming conventions for the reports do not seem to be standardized and many times the name doesn't seem to tell you what the report actually returns. I've taken the Reporting class, along with most of the other classes ...

  • Re: F1 Reporting

Hi Rguilliams, I am looking forward to hearing from others about their reporting hits and misses.  I can think of a couple of things that may help you right off the bat with finding your reports.  I hope this helps. I don’t know if you have had a chance to use our new "Report Library" link to find your reports.  ...

  • Re: Fellowship One Login

Hey Kevin, Are you looking to put a link to your Fellowship One Portal (for staff and lay leaders) or to WebLink (for the congregation)? Portal ID’s are what your staff and lay leaders use to sign into your database from www.fellowshipone.com.  WebLink ID’s are what your congregation will use when for Online Giving and Small ...
