  • Activities vs Multiple Activity Schedules

I had a quick question to see how others handled this situation. My church currently has 3 services for kids. Rather than have ''kids worship'' as an activity and a 9:30, 11:00 and 12:30 schedule, we actually have three separate activities, each with one schedule. I assume that this was set up this way (I just got here) was because our third ...

  • Re: Providing Kiosk Coverage

For our church, each ministry takes care of their own check-in.

  • Providing Kiosk Coverage

I would like to hear from other sites how you handle staffing your kiosks for weekday and weeknight events.  Is the ministry hosting the event responsible for checking in their participants?  Who handles caregiving?  What if you have multiple events checking in at the same time?

  • Staffing assignments with multiple schedule options

We are in the process of getting our volunteers to checkin using self checkin. We have keytags with the volunteers name and barcode on it. What I am trying to figure out is the easiest and most effective way to give staffing assignments to volunteers when not everyone serves using the same schedule. Basically we have a Sat night service and then ...

  • Re: Thumb scanners

Chris, I talked to Dan Bailey from POS Computer Corp (www.POSComputerCorp.Com) at the F1 Conference and he was telling me about the issues they were having in coming up with a cost effective solution for fingerprint scanning that would work with F1. Give him a call and he can explain in detail.

  • Creative ways to get youth groups to check in

We are looking for ways to boost our check in numbers for our two youth groups.  We have both a Jr. High and a Sr. High group which meet on different nights.  There seems to be a gap between the actual head count number and what the system check in reflects.  The gap is biggest in the high school age group.  Currently we are ...

  • Re: one barcode per family or one per child

You can use either method. When you launch the check in app there is an option to return the entire family or just the individual

  • one barcode per family or one per child

I have read that for check-in beta that if you have a barcode for a child then you can scan the barcode and it will fully check them in and print their name tag, if they already have a participation assignment.  Is this true?  We've distributed our barcodes out to families and have put everyone in the entire family on one barcode ...

  • Participant Assignments and Closed Rooms

At our Church the nursery wing is fully staffed and usually all rooms are open on Sundays, but only a few rooms are open during our Saturday evening worship services.  This is causing some mixups in our participant assignments, particularly when a family comes Saturday evening one week and Sunday morning the next week.  Does anyone else ...

  • Child Check-In Without Access to a Computer

Hi, I wonder if anyone can advise on the following?  We are setting up check-in procedures for our children's ministries but are encountering some problems in devising a system.  We do not have access to a computer at the venue which we use for our services and so we need to implement a manual system for checking in the ...

  • Re: Self Check-In

Thanks for your interest in the Self Check-In Application.  Yes, it does require the bar-code system.  This is to ensure that the specific individual or family is returned in a quick manner.  To find out more about the Self Check-In Application, check out the release notes in Answer ID 12.  To access the Answer ID, click on ...

  • Self Check-In

We would like to try the self check-in system and I need to know how to get started.  One question I have is...Does self check-in require the bar-code system or can a person check themselves in by phone #, name, etc.?  Please point me to the documentation on how to get this started.  Thanks.

This is exactly how we have our childrens ministry set up.  When checking in children our checkin volunteers just balance the groups .    Mark

Hey there, Collin.  I would love to get my hands on the plans for these kiosks. They look great.  Christiaan VandenHeuvel; Cornerstone Fellowship (christiaanv@cornerstoneweb.org)

  • Re: Caregiving Ministry

Wow.  This is a good question.  Or should I say these are good questions.  Let me try and answer some of them for you.  I can think of 2 ways to handle this situation.  The first is for each ministry that requires caregiving to create their own structure for caregiving under each of their activities.  Fellowship ...

  • Caregiving Ministry

Looking for the best way to configure caregiving in Fellowship One. Our church provides caregiving for most of our on-site events throughout the week.  Each day is unique in that the number of events and children can vary.  One day we may use two classrooms to acommodate all the children needing childcare and the next we might use six ...

  • Re: Recommendations on Nursery Paging Systems

I do not have a paging system to recommend sorry.  But I did want to speak to the underlying issue.  Are you finding that parents are not in the sanctuary and therefore putting the names on the screen is not meeting your needs?  I have worked with churches in the past that while the worship service is running they are also having ...

I have not seen this issue.  Are the assignments that you are referring to the staffing assignments in the portal?  If so that is definitely not supposed to happen.  If you see this again please report it as an issue through the support tab.  Our support team will work with you to find an answer.
